Super excited to upload my first outfit post of the year! After finishing lunch in the streets of Koreatown, I quickly rushed to find a photoshoot location before sunset. Thankfully, I found this beautiful white wall in an eerily picturesque neighborhood just in the nick of time. This look is very “less is more” and is almost entirely black save for a few red accents.
The longsleeve is probably the comfiest top to ever wear thanks to its oversized fit and the sleeve details are impeccable, featuring a very wide cut and floral designs on the sides.
My favorite part of the outfit is definitely the Zara pants purchased from their end-of-season sale. The trousers closely resemble these Alexander McQueen pants which unfortunately, are not at all close to a college student’s budget. The red stripe plays a great role in the look by adding a bold dash of color and a sense of symmetry without being overbearing.
A 90s trend, side stripes have been making waves for a couple years now, and it certainly seems that we will be seeing more of this design later this season.
Winter in Los Angeles is much like fall season anywhere else really. Bundling up simply means adding a jacket and a scarf to your outfit in case temperatures threaten to drop to a vicious fifty degrees. Yet I couldn’t resist! I added this heavy overcoat as outerwear. Its sharp shoulders, military look, and red accents make this the perfect item to finish off the outfit while maintaining a clean, minimal look.
